It's been a while! What have I been doing?!

Hi guys!

It's been a while since my last post! I have been so busy! There's been birthdays and all sorts! I have been snowed under with all my sewing work! I can't keep up, I have so much to do. Do you ever feel like after all that planning you do - you cant stick to it? You don't stay on schedule? Well this has been me the last few weeks! I am getting better though at staying on track and just when I am right on track I get sick! Always the way!

This post is just a Hello, I'm still here and this is what I have been up to! I now have more than three planners though I only use three! I got the two Happy Planners that I really wanted although I ordered an Erin Condren in their massive sale and I honestly think I prefer it for everyday planning - I love the coil, it feels very secure! As much as I love the Happy Planner, I still find turning the pages awkward - and that's after I've taken next year out of it! However I know later in the year they are coming out with a binder like the Dokibook so I will see if that is an option for me!

So by now you're wondering - What does she do with 3 planners at the same time?!
well I made a YouTube video showing you exactly that! :)

Let me know your thoughts! Please leave a comment I love to know what you guys think! If you have any questions just ask :)

Planning is taking over my life!

Hi Guys!
Welcome back to my blog!
In the few short months that I have delved into the planner world, I have become addicted. Planning is taking over my life! If I could plan my toilet breaks I think I would! I'm slowly turning into Sheldon Cooper!
But, I adore planning, it helps clear my mind writing everything down and the fact that I can use stickers as an adult?! Even better!!

Now for a little announcement... I now have an Etsy Store! I've jumped on the bandwagon but I hope that my designs/ideas stand out a little from the crowd and you all love them! They are only downloads at the minute because I do not have my Silhouette yet! But when I get that and get it up and running I can offer printed stickers as well as downloads!

Here is a Plan With Me video with my etsy stickers! I hope you enjoy watching this and please subsrcribe, give a thumbs up, comment or purchase :) you guys are awesome!

Room Tour! (I've switched rooms)

Hi Guys!

Welcome back! I now have a YouTube channel! find me on YT as LolaOffee :)
I have moved my planning area out of the bedroom much to my Husbands delight. I found a way to make it work in my sewing room! I wasn't sure I would have enough space but after rearranging some things I made it work!

Have a look at my YT room tour!

As you can see I do have to get a few more things sorted but I am really LOVING this setup! It also means that when I'm sewing or more work is coming in that I can just scoot over to my planners, on their own little table, and write everything down! I was worried that adding another table would mean losing a lot of floor space but I actually did not lose that much. I'm so happy with how this turned out and I hope it has maybe inspired some of you :)

and my chair can be found here... http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20278643/

My name is.... and I'm a Planner Addict. HELP!

It all began with an Amazon gift card at Christmas and the search for the ultimate planner. Enter, The Happy Planner. It arrived January 17th 2016. Since then I do not want to think about what I have spent on it never mind what my Mum has spent on bits and pieces for my planner. She's feeling nostalgic, when I was a little girl I loved getting stickers and notebooks and pens and ALL things stationary related! I loved the summer just before I went back to school so I could buy new pencils and pens! Yep the addiction has always been there its just become more profound this year!!

The reason for this post is that last night, March 3rd (my no spend month) I ordered a Websters Pages Color Crush Personal in white. I'm a little ashamed of myself. My justification - it was purchased using last months leftover money. Even worse - my husband encouraged it. We are a little hopeless.

I ordered this from Hey Little Magpie which is U.K based. I ordered the kit version so it comes with all the inserts as ordering separately was going to be more expensive, so that's sort of a bargain right? See there goes the justifying again. My reason for having a personal sized planner is that carrying an A5 is not always practical, I don't always want to carry a big bag/backpack. Also they get pretty heavy. I just wanted something that I can take on the go with me and so I can check dates when I'm out and about. Also I can do some minimal decorating still, so all those stickers won't go to waste. When it arrives I will pop up another blog post with my thoughts on the color crush!

Now onto the other reason I need some sort of intervention. The new Happy Planners. I want two of them. Do I need two - probably not. Can I afford two - no but its my birthday at the start of April. Can I justify having two - Possibly. Is living in the U.K a massive drawback to my plan of getting two? - YES! I love the Be Bright planner but MAMBI won't release it to U.K stockists, which I think is pretty unfair. I refuse to pay $47 in shipping from MAMBI directly.

This planner is so me. It matches my sewing room perfectly and my idea was to use this planner for everything sewing related. So the only things I would be writing in this planner would be sewing related, fabric swatches, measurements, notes, to do lists, photos of the finished item. See, totally justifying the purchase BUT only if I can get it in the U.K or if someone would like to get it and post it to me and I can Paypal them the money!

The second planner I love is the Hello Life/Stay Golden. I'm not sure which size, It depends on what I decide to use it for.I could use the larger one for Memory Planning as trying to do that in my everyday, everything in one planner just does not work. I was talking to my very understanding Husband the other day about this. We've only been married 3 months and I really want to look back on the year and see fun memories not all bills to pay and what's to be cleaned. My laptop just died and it had all my photos on it. So now I want something that has my favourite photos as a hard copy so to speak. For this I think the larger planner is the way forward. Then I would keep my current one that is in my binder as a household/everyday planner. If I decided to not memory keep I would get the smaller version though I really do feel that I would like to Memory Plan. This all kinda hinges on the Be bright planner as I really need a separate sewing planner!

My First Post!

Hi guys!

Firstly, I have to confess, my name isn't really Lola Offee, it comes from my favourite perfume, Lola by Marc Jacobs and my favourite Star Wars character, Barriss Offee! (who I dress up as with the Emerald Garrison to raise money for charity!) I plan to use this blog to share my thoughts on planner related things and I may possibly share some of my sewing projects as well!

Secondly, I have become a complete planner addict! Every year I hunted for the perfect A5 Diary to keep everything in and every year I ended up with a bog standard diary, usually from Poundland because I just couldn't find one I loved! Clearly this has changed from January 2016. I found The Happy Planner on my search for a diary for this year!
I need a planner that can literally hold my life! I work a part time job but I sew like crazy on my days off and I really need to keep track of everything! This is why I love my Happy Planner! I love that I can be creative even in my planning now! I always loved stickers as a child and I had quite the sticker collection, if only I could find it now eh! So this whole style of creative planning really excites me :)

Now onto some photos!

This is currently my make up table, which I'm having to double up on until I can afford the add on unit to make it bigger so I can use it as both a make up table and a planning area! This is from Ikea and on the right side it has a flip up mirror with storage :) You can see my all time fav perfume makes an appearance to! I haven't got my jewellery sorted as I just moved house!

 My beautiful Lola :)

I got this cocktail bowl from Poundland last night to store my favourite washi tapes! I've collected over 100 from January! It's an addiction, I probably need help. However, I did 20 rolls on Aliexpress for £10!! That's 50p a roll, and they are all 10m rolls. I actually have seen the same rolls in stores and online for £1.50-£3.50! I also get washi from pound shops, The Works, Tiger, Ikea and Paperchase.

My Paperchase washi tape. I had a 15% off to use so I got this for like £6.80 I think. You should sign up to their 'treat me' scheme its really good! It's like a boots card for stationary!

Now to finish off my first ever post, I'm going to leave you with my favourite ever layout! I adore Disney, I want to work there making costumes someday, so I'm a real Disnerd. I made these stickers myself in Word, using the Princess images I found on Google! I then made matching boxes in word. The cute cupcakes are a free printable I got in a Facebook Group. I made some inserts also, I received my Honeymoon photos that week from Gloria Villa of our shoot in Disneyland Paris, so I printed my favourite one out. Also I made that mermaid inspired dress which I loved so I included some photos of Kelly in that! She owns Kelly's Princess Parties and she's awesome!
I'm sure you've noticed that my Happy Planner is in a binder, I made a rash decision which I'm still not sure about but I do have my eye on the new ones!!

I hope you've enjoyed my first post, if you have, leave a comment, say Hello :)

Until next time,

Lola x
